Concordia Lutheran Church of Upper Marlboro Maryland has granted Lutheran Hour Ministries a gift of $5,000.00 for their CONNECT ministry - reaching the hard to reach places to share God's Word.
Many are familiar with the Lutheran Hour Radio program hosted by Lutheran Hour Ministries. Their ministry goes beyond the radio show and with their CONNECT program - Global Expansion, Digital Engagement, and Better Together in Community as well as other programs.
Lutheran Hour Ministries is equipping the church to share the Gospel, deepen faith at home, and impact communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ through the CONNECT Initiative. CONNECT is a five year initiative to ignite a movement in the Christian church that every gift might be shared to proclaim Christ. Through CONNECT, Lutheran Hour Ministries will expand its presence, share thought leadership, and maximize impact for all people, especially where the Gospel is largely silent or has been forgotten.
Check out these videos on the CONNECT and HOPE programs of Lutheran Hour Ministries.
